Job Description
 

 

  • Work closely with the Development team to research, plan, write and update documentation.
  • Work closely with internal documentation clients to assess requirements and priorities.
  • Partner with the Development team in the planning, specification and testing phases of the product development lifecycle.
  • Document workflow processes to ensure proper engineer training & process consistency.
  • Document software processes, data flows, and APIs
  •  Write detailed application and feature specifications.
  • Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop documentation with minimal legacy materials.
  • Organize existing material, identifying gaps and spearhead efforts to fill them.
Qualifications
 
Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or Related Field)
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong document development skills including technical writing capabilities.
  • Professional experience as a writer in software development environments.
  • Familiarity with event driven programming concepts.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to quickly build rapport with diverse teams.
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines and deliver high-quality materials.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adjust priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate technical concepts and acquire in-depth knowledge via interviews with subject matter experts.
